ADFHow we came to be

In Africa thousands of developmental projects had been initiated and been implemented by foreign NGOs and donors who became one of the features of Africa’s development. People in Africa tend to welcome those projects while they are forgetting that their high level of consciousness and participation will improve their livelihoods in their community with small amount of money as compared to huge budgets currently being received from foreign donors. ADF advisors and staff all worked for Africa through business and developmental work and realized this importance of community initiative for sustainable development. Thus we came to establish ADF in 2006 to contribute to reconstruction of sustainable development of Africa and implementing unique and low capital outlay projects with social and economic sustainability in various sectors of need and community request.

Our goals

ADF's goals are structured to impact positively on contemporary communities in Africa improving on:

  • Human and Household Security
  • Alternative Energy
  • Bottom of the Pyramid Investments
  • Built Environment Renewal/Urban Renewal
  • Capacity Building
  • Reversing Dead Capital
  • Rule of Law and Human Rights
  • Preserving the Earth/Environment
  • Communication and Mobility

Our emphasis

To achieve our community service objectives ADF advances its mission through projects with emphasis on research, social entrepreneurship and social media.
